Hi, I’m Ben Lewis-Smith — a London-based musician, educator, and dad, passionate about helping people discover (or rediscover) the joy of making music.

I hold a Master’s degree in Music from the University of Oxford and work as Director of Music at St Columba’s Church of Scotland, Knightsbridge. Alongside a busy performing and conducting schedule, I created Knightsbridge Music to share what I’ve learned over years of professional experience — and to make piano learning accessible, personal, and inspiring.

Whether you're a complete beginner or returning to the piano after a break, my approach is simple: music is for everyone. You can learn from the comfort and privacy of your own home, at your own pace, with courses that are designed to fit around real life — especially if you’re juggling work, family, or both (like me!).

Everything I teach is grounded in the real-world musical situations I face every day. I want to give you more than just notes and repetition — I want to offer insight, encouragement, and give you the tools that genuinely make you a better musician.
